Symposium Program

2nd International Symposium
Rare Attractors and Rare Phenomena in
Nonlinear Dynamics
RA’11
May (16)17 – 20, 2011, Rīga – Jūrmala, Latvia

Location

Riga, the capital of Latvia, was founded in 1201. Riga is located along the Baltic Sea at the southern coast of the Gulf of Riga. Riga has long traditions as an international trading center dates back to the Hanseatic League and the 13th century. The city has retained many ancient features in its architecture and culture.

The Symposium will take place in 15 km from Riga – in Jurmala, the largest resort city in the Baltic States which is well-known for its natural treasures: the mild climate, sea, healthy air, curative mud and mineral water. The attraction of Jurmala hides in its long white sand beach and the large pine forest and the natural border of the city is the river Lielupe. In Jurmala, you will discover a combination of charming wooden houses built in the beginning of the last century and modern resort buildings. The participants will see several Latvian places of interest and the Old Riga during RA’11 excursions.

Accommodation. Please contact Hotel Lielupe (www.lielupe.lv) administration for room reservation (with reference to “Symposium RA’11”). The Hotel suggests rooms: from 27 EUR (single room) and from 41 EUR (twin room) per night.
